This was meant to be a conference year. However, as the conditions aren’t yet right for international travel and face-to-face meetings of large groups of modernist scholars, we’ve put together a programme of online events that’ll take place for a month from 16 June – Bloomsday, famously the day on which James Joyce’s Ulysses (1922) is set. Some of these events are organised by us; in some instances we’re simply highlighting events and conferences that are being organised by other societies and friends in modernist studies.
Please sign up for any event you’re interested in by 4pm (UK/BST) on the preceding day at the link here: https://forms.gle/1enRmbL5qvY7xkBt6
All times are UK/BST. We’ve tried to spread events out as best we can in order to minimise video fatigue. Zoom links will be circulated on the day of the event to anyone who has registered and provided a correct email address at the above link.
We hope that we’ll be able to meet again in person soon. In the meantime, please enjoy these festival events that we’ve put on. We’re looking forward to seeing you all virtually!
