Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences are looking for strong candidates to apply the following three year, full-time Ph.D. studentships. The successful candidates will receive an annual stipend of £14,000 for three years beginning in September 2015/16. Students will be required to pay the Home/EU or International fees as appropriate. Please note that all fees rise by approximately 4% each year, therefore the Home/EU fees for 2015/16 will be approximately £4,155 and the International fees will be approximately £13,208.
The studentships are intended for candidates who will pursue a PhD project that falls within one of the Faculty’s key research areas. Applicants are invited to examine the range of topics in which our staff have a particular specialism. These are described on our departmental websites:
