Special Collections at the University of Leeds houses one of the best Evelyn Waugh collections in Europe. To celebrate the opening of the marvellous new Treasures of theBrotherton exhibition space, and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Waugh’s death, Alexander Waugh, Martin Stannard and Barbara Cooke of the Complete Works of Evelyn Waugh Project will be discussing the collection’s gems including the manuscript of Vile Bodies, the only complete Waugh manuscript to still reside in the UK, and rare copies of magazines produced by the author in his youth.
